About the Role:
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll design, develop, and maintain scalable features across their platform ecosystem. You'll work in cross-functional product squads, taking ownership of feature delivery from conception to deployment. This role offers excellent exposure to both frontend and backend systems while supporting the company's transition to modern technologies and quality-first development practices.

You'll balance hands-on technical delivery with mentoring junior team members while developing expertise in emerging tools within their evolving tech ecosystem.

Location: Melbourne.
Office Policy: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office.

Essential Skills:

• 2-4 years of experience in full-stack or backend software engineering roles
• Strong React experience (this is the key priority for this role)
• Solid PHP Laravel experience (version 8+)
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks and modern frontend development
• SQL database experience (MySQL/PostgreSQL) with query optimisation knowledge
• REST API development and integration experience
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, Docker, CI/CD)
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
• SaaS or product company background preferred

Highly Regarded Skills:

• Next.js experience and modern React patterns
• Experience with scalable, large-scale platforms
• React Native or mobile development exposure
• Systems architecture understanding
• Frontend testing frameworks and test automation
• GitHub/version control and deployment pipelines
• Agile development methodologies
• AI-driven development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)
• Evidence of proactive engagement (side projects, open source contributions)
