About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Mobile Tech Lead to drive the technical strategy and architecture for their patient-facing mobile platform. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in startup environments and wants to make a real-world impact in healthcare. Working mainly on their React Native App, you'll coordinate technical decisions across a 5-person mobile team while collaborating closely with product managers, backend engineers, and machine learning specialists. The company is undergoing an exciting transformation toward AI-driven personalisation, moving from one-size-fits-all solutions to highly personalised patient experiences.

Location: Melbourne
Office Policy: 3 days per week in office

Role Requirements & Tech Stack:
Essential Skills:

• Very strong backend engineering background with progression to frontend development.
• Holistic technical understanding across mobile development
• Database expertise (SQL and document-oriented databases)
• Proficiency with Tailwind CSS, z-orders, and windowing concepts
• Mobile development understanding and architecture principles
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities

Highly Regarded Skills:

• React Native experience (though strong React experience is equally valued) 
• Any mobile background is totally fine!
• Experience with AI/ML integration in production applications
• Previous startup or scale-up company experience
• Healthcare or regulated industry background
• Voice technology or conversational AI experience
