The Opportunity
We're seeking a Strategic Product Owner to work onsite with one of their major clients on a critical customer strategy and process transformation initiative. This role focuses on improving customer engagement and streamlining operational processes to drive business growth and enhance user experience. You'll lead product discovery, strategy development, and planning while coordinating delivery across multiple squads.
  
What You'll Do

• Lead comprehensive product discovery activities and strategic planning
• Develop strategic roadmaps for customer conversion and process optimisation
• Take ownership of overall delivery across multiple squads
• Manage complex internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Lead strategic workshops and discovery sessions with senior stakeholders
• Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience
• Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership
• Champion change management activities across business functions

What You Bring

• 5+ years proven track record in strategic product discovery and planning roles
• Experience leading product initiatives across multiple delivery teams
• Strong background in customer acquisition, retention, or conversion strategies
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills across internal and external groups
• Experience working at senior levels within large organisations
• Proactive approach with ability to work from operational to head of department level
• Clear communicator who can articulate complex strategies concisely
• Experience in debt collection or payment processing advantageous but not required

Contract Details

• Duration: From now to June 2026
• Rate: Up to $960 per day (depending on experience)
• Location: Melbourne CBD - 3 days per week onsite
