Backup SME – Rubrik Specialist

Location: Sydney | Rate: $1,300/day | Duration: 6 months +

We're hiring a Backup SME with strong expertise in Rubrik to manage backup, recovery, and data protection across hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Rubrik (incl. Polaris)
• Ensure data integrity, backup, archiving, and recovery
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
• Automate backup workflows using scripting
• Support data protection and cyber resiliency efforts
• Manage hybrid cloud and on-prem backup environments
• Collaborate with IT teams (storage, network, etc.)
• Maintain documentation and share knowledge

Requirements:

• Proven Rubrik experience
• Strong backup/recovery and troubleshooting skills
• Scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Cloud and on-prem infrastructure knowledge
