About the role Fernway Partners specialises in connecting top digital talent with leading retail brands. Our client, a leading Australian eCommerce retail brand,  is seeking an experienced Digital Delivery Lead to join their team for a complete website rebuild. This is a strategic role responsible for leading the delivery of a brand new, top-to-bottom website rebuild that is critical to the company's domestic and international  growth objectives. Reporting to the CTO, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of this project, from planning and scoping through to successful implementation and handover. This is a hybrid role, with flexible work arrangements available.
  
What you'll be doing

• Plan, execute, and oversee the complete rebuild of our main ecommerce websites, working primarily with outsourced, vendor-supported design and implementation teams
• Develop and implement a comprehensive web strategy/roadmap, working closely with the e-commerce team
• Oversee the technical aspects of website development, including architecture, coding, and integration of web applications
• Ensure optimal user experience by conducting regular usability tests and incorporating user feedback into website design
• Collaborate with marketing teams to implement SEO best practices and utilise analytics tools to monitor website performance and user engagement
• Liaise with stakeholders across all areas of the business (ecommerce, marketing, digital, exec, business improvement and external vendors and suppliers) to manage expectations and communicate project status
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development and digital marketing

  
What we're looking for

• Demonstrable experience as a BA, PM, delivery lead or manager, with at least one entire, end-to-end website rebuild delivery to your name within the e-commerce sector
• Experience working with enterprise-level website builds (approximately $15-$50M in revenue)
• Must have exposure to e-commerce - retail experience is preferred, fashion and beauty sector experience is highly desirable
• Really strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the organisation
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing requirements
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple concurrent tasks and deliverables
• Experience in managing outsourced vendor relationships and implementation teams
