Property Systems Technical Specialist (Property Platforms – MRI / Yardi or Similar)

We are looking for a Property Systems Technical Specialist to support and enhance the organisation’s core property management technology platforms.

This role sits within the internal technology team and focuses on ensuring our property systems operate effectively, integrate with other business platforms and deliver reliable reporting and data insights to the business.

You will work closely with teams across the organisation including finance, operations and property management to understand system needs, improve processes and deliver technical solutions within platforms such as MRI, Yardi or other enterprise property systems.

The position would suit someone who enjoys combining technical problem solving with stakeholder collaboration, and who is comfortable working with databases, reporting tools and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain core property management systems and associated applications
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into system enhancements and technical solutions
• Develop and maintain reports, queries and data extracts to support operational and financial reporting
• Assist with system integrations and data flows between property platforms and other business systems
• Support data migration and system upgrades where required
• Troubleshoot system issues and assist users with resolving technical problems
• Participate in testing of system changes, upgrades and new functionality
• Prepare documentation and support materials for internal users
• Provide training and guidance to users on system functionality and best practice

Skills & Experience

• Experience working with property management platforms such as MRI, Yardi or similar real estate systems
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
• Experience developing reports, dashboards or data extracts
• Exposure to system integrations or APIs
• Understanding of property management, finance or asset management workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Desirable Experience

• Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS
• Exposure to workflow automation or system configuration
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript
• Experience supporting enterprise system implementations or upgrades
