About the Role We are looking for a skilled Electrical Tester to work on our Grainger Contract covering Manchester and the surrounding areas. You will carry out maintenance, testing, and repairs on electrical systems and appliances in domestic properties, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of electrical systems and appliances to required standards.
• Trace, locate, and rectify faults, ensuring systems and appliances are left safe and serviceable.
• Report any appliances or installations that fail to meet current regulations.
• Replace electrical sockets, fittings, and consumer units.
• Rewire domestic properties, both occupied and void.

Requirements:

• Qualifications:
  • Electrical Test Engineer Certification: 2391 and 18th Edition (minimum).
  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation.
• Experience:
  • Proficiency in EICR Testing in social and private housing settings.
• Skills:
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
