About the Role We are seeking an Electrical Tester to join our Ealing contract, covering Ealing and the surrounding areas. You’ll perform maintenance, testing, and repairs to electrical systems and appliances in both occupied and void domestic properties, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of electrical systems and appliances to the required standards.
• Trace, locate, and rectify faults, leaving systems in a safe and serviceable condition.
• Report any faulty appliances or installations that fail to meet current regulations.
• Replace electrical sockets, fittings, and consumer units.
• Rewire domestic properties, both occupied and vacant.

Requirements:

• Qualifications:
  • Electrical Test Engineer Certification: 2391 and 18th Edition (minimum).
  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation.
• Experience:
  • Skilled in EICR Testing within social and private housing.
• Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and repairing faults.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to health and safety standards.
