Job Title: Project Assistant – Power & Renewables

About the Role:
We are seeking a Project Assistant to join our client’s growing Power & Renewables team. This role supports the Project Management team in delivering all aspects of project administration, ensuring compliance with company standards, effective procurement, and smooth operations. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the document control for all project documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the Project Management team across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ensure project compliance with company standards and practices.
• Handle procurement for small items, consumables, and plant.
• Maintain and update key project files, including the risk register, project programs, drawings, and technical information, ensuring accessibility for other teams.
• Organize and service internal and external project meetings, including minute-taking and timely distribution of records.
• Track and chase project deliverables, remind team members of key deadlines, and help ensure timely delivery.
• Act as a central point of contact for project updates and communication regarding progress.

• Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• A proactive, can-do approach to project and procurement work.
• Confident and professional phone manner.
• Advanced IT skills, especially in Excel, and experience with budget spreadsheets and cashflows.
• Ability to multitask effectively, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with staff, suppliers, funders, and directors.
• Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Commercial awareness to support project objectives.
