Area Coordinator – Continuous Improvement
12-Month Secondment
This is a full time, Monday to Friday day shift opportunity – exact start and finish times to be confirmed
The RoleIn this role, you will support Operations by driving improvement initiatives and embedding Continuous Improvement (CI) practices into daily activities
As a Project Area Coordinator, you will also contribute to the successful delivery of our
Good Taste Without the Waste programs through hands-on, day-to-day involvement. Reporting to the Continuous Improvement team, this position may involve cross-functional collaboration across various streams
The Purpose of the Role - Collaborate with production staff to identify and implement process optimizations
- Oversee and manage the start-up and changeover processes to ensure smooth and efficient transitions
- Take ownership of product quality within your designated line/area, with a strong focus on safety
- Provide troubleshooting support for MOM/DSF systems and SAP purchase orders
- Lead and engage the production team in continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage daily operations including, team engagement, communication, performance assessments, training, and recognition
- Regular Gemba to identify process improvement opportunities
- Conduct Trials to support data based decision making
About You - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting is highly regarded
- Experienced in data analysis using Excel functions and charts to identify trends and insights is highly regarded
- Proven experience with SAP, familiarity with MOM/DSF is highly regarded
- Strong focus and and commitment to meeting internal and external expectations
- Demonstrated success in team engagement, cultural transformation, and process improvement
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities
- Ability to build effective professional relationships at all levels
- Resilient and quick to engage with others in dynamic environments
- Adaptable and responsive in a fast-paced operational setting
