The Role This role works closely with the Ham, Bacon, Smallgoods and Salami streams at the Castlemaine site, transporting products and materials safely and efficiently across the site. The position also supports waste management activities, including the movement of rubbish to the waste treatment plant and wash bay. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 2:00pm
The Purpose of the Role
Safely transport products, materials and equipment between the Ham, Bacon, Smallgoods and Salami streams
Ensure goods are delivered accurately and in a timely manner to support production requirements
Move waste and rubbish to the waste treatment plant and wash bay in accordance with site procedures
Conduct daily vehicle checks and operate trucks safely at all times
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
Follow all company policies, food safety, quality and workplace health and safety requirements
Support site operations by working collaboratively with production teams and other departments
About You
Hold a current Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck Licence
Good verbal communication skills
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
Current Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Able to follow directions and work safely at all times
Works well independently and as part of a team
Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 10kg
Demonstrates a professional and collaborative approach to work
Committed to upholding company values and safety standards
