The Role

We currently have a 6-month secondment opportunity available in Logistics team as Staff Shop Operator on day shift, reporting to Distribution Manager. This is a short-term opportunity commencing ASAP, subject for an extension

This role also requires flexibility to support the broader Logistics team by assisting with leave coverage and operational needs when required, working from Tuesday to Friday, 8:45 am to 5:15 pm

Purpose of the Role

• Learn Staff Shop processes and day‑to‑day operations
• Run the Staff Shop, including selling items to staff and keeping shelves stocked
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised Staff Shop environment
• Ability to use a computer for data entry
• Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 25kg safely
• Work closely with the Process Specifications Officer to make sure labels are correct
• Provide support to the broader Logistics team, including planned and unplanned leave coverage as required

About You

• A positive attitude and the ability to take direction as required
• Proven reliability and a strong work ethic
• Professional and collaborative work approach
• Be able to work both independently and as part of a team 
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safe work practices at all times  
• Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential
• A truck license is a nice to have
