At Our Lady of the Rosary OSHC in Caloundra, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic casual Educator to join our supportive team. Our service provides before school care, after school care for up to 45 children, set within a wonderful school community featuring spacious indoor and outdoor play areas.
The children actively participate in designing their own activities and programs, fostering a strong sense of belonging and engagement, making every day dynamic, rewarding, and fun. We're looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, shows initiative, and is happy to support all areas of service delivery.
No formal qualification is required for this role, however a qualification in Children's Services is highly regarded, and those currently working towards one are encouraged to apply.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator…
- Provide warm, nurturing care for children across before school and after school
- Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all
- Design and deliver fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families

Job Requirements: - A qualification in Children's Services (Certificate III, Diploma, or ACECQA equivalent) is highly regarded but not essential
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko) Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and National Law/Regulations (or ability to acquire)
- Some experience in the education and care of children is desirable
- Effective oral and written communication skills within the workplace
