About the Role
In this role, you'll help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children across all programs. You'll work closely with your team to support children's individual needs, foster positive relationships, and deliver high-quality experiences that encourage participation, confidence, and belonging.
Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging, play-based experiences that reflect children's interests and developmental needs
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children
- Build positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and colleagues
- Support the day-to-day operations of the service and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and professionalism in all aspects of the role

What We're Looking For - Demonstrated experience working in OSHC, school-aged care, or a similar education and care setting
- A strong understanding of child development, wellbeing, and play-based learning
- Completion of, or willingness to complete prior to commencement, the mandatory National Child Safety Training (Gecko Learning)
- Ability to confidently engage and support groups of children with diverse interests, backgrounds, and individual needs
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and colleagues
- A proactive, reliable, and adaptable team member who contributes positively to team culture
- A commitment to creating inclusive environments where every child feels safe, valued, and supported
