We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Full-Time Educator to join our team in our Toddlers' room. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys creating a fun, engaging, and caring environment for children.

Conveniently located at Assisi College, we provide care and education for children from six weeks of age and offer a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program for children in the year before Prep, catering for up to 59 children.

Hours: Permanent Full Time opportunitiy available (38 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• You will be pivotal in developing our children's lifelong love of learning.
• Can build a strong rapport with our families, educators, and community. 

Job Requirements:

• Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Hold current First Aid and CPR certification for an education and care setting, or be willing to obtain it.
• Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
• A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
• Effective workplace communication skills  
• Willingness to take Child Protection Training as required.
