St. Flannan’s OSHC is a vibrant and welcoming service, licensed for 60 children and offering Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care. We are seeking a passionate Assistant Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the service and help create a safe, engaging, and high-quality environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.

About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with the Coordinator to support the smooth and effective running of the service. You’ll play a key role in leading the team, supporting program delivery, and ensuring a positive experience for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service
- Assist with program planning, implementation, and documentation
- Contribute to staff rostering, supervision, and team support
- Deliver high-quality, inclusive, and engaging educational programs
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for all children
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Step into the Responsible Person role when required
About You - Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within education and care
- Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Completed Child Protection Training
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, and relevant legislation
- Confident using childcare management systems (experience with Xplor is highly regarded)
- Strong communication, organisation, and emerging leadership skills
