Centacare Community Services has been working in partnership with the community and all levels of Government. With a workforce of more than 3,000 as well as volunteers, Centacare responds to local needs from over 200 service sites, touching the lives of more than 100,000 people each year across Disability & Mental Health, Aged & home Care and Specialist Family Support Services.
About the Role
In this rewarding position, you will play a vital role in connecting people with the support they need. You’ll provide frontline assistance, guide clients toward community services, and help create pathways to more specialised support where required.
Working within a values-driven organisation, you will:
- Support individuals and families through case management and group programs
- Facilitate access to community and targeted support services
- Contribute to a safe, supportive environment for children and young people
- Assist with planning and delivering workshops, events, and community initiatives
- Conduct home visits and transport clients when required
- Collaborate with networks, stakeholders, and internal teams
What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who is empathetic, organised, and committed to best practice. Ideally, you will have:
- A relevant qualification (or equivalent experience) in community services or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in case management, program delivery, or community support work
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Solid administrative and report-writing skills
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
