Registered Nurse – Night Shift (Fixed Term Contract until August 2026)

About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (Night Shift) to join our modern aged care facility in the beautiful town of Yackandandah, located near Beechworth, Wangaratta and Albury/Wodonga.
This is a fixed term contract position (38 hours per fortnight) through to August 2026, working a set night shift roster:
- Week 1: Monday & Tuesday nights
- Week 2: Sunday & Monday nights
Additional shifts may be available where required.

Your responsibilitiesAs a Night Shift Registered Nurse, you will:
• Provide high-quality clinical care and overnight monitoring of residents
• Conduct assessments and respond to clinical changes or incidents
• Administer medications and manage clinical documentation
• Support and supervise Personal Care Workers on shift
• Liaise with on-call medical practitioners as required
• Ensure a safe, calm and supportive overnight environment
• Work in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards
About youYou will bring:
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience (aged care experience highly regarded)
• Ability to work independently and confidently on night shift
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
• A genuine passion for person-centred care
