Yackandandah Health is proudly part of the Apollo Care Alliance, an innovative national organisation with a unique vision to support not-for-profit aged care communities. Yackandandah Health is located in beautiful North East Victoria, close to snow fields, wineries and the beautiful Murray River. With over 100 employees, Yackandandah Health is the largest employer in the town.
We have developed a sustainable intergenerational site providing residential aged care, childcare, a medical centre, allied health services and apartment living. We are innovative and forward thinking in our approach to the delivery of community services.
The Role:
We are looking for a Permanent full-time HR admin/rostering officer to join the team at Yackandandah Health.
What you will do:
The HR/Rostering Officer is responsible for a range of general admin duties, such as:
- Working within a small team to coordinate the roster for staff
- Monitor staff availability and attendance, including coordination of shift replacements for scheduled and unscheduled leave
- Ensure rosters for all employees are accurate and filled
- Managing employee records and liaising with HR management
- General Administration e.g. Data entry/collation and reports preparation, records management, reception, and filing.
- General administrative duties, contributing to the efficient operation of our facility.
- Supporting and assisting our HR department and recruitment functions
- Assisting with the onboarding of new employees
- Finance duties including accounts payable and receivable
- Handling billing queries and other general finance tasks
What you will bring: - Leverage your previous experience in rostering and have least 2 years in a similar position.
- Utilise your proficiency in rostering software such as Humanforce or similar, along with a good skill level in MS Office applications.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, fostering collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Bring a positive and can-do attitude to contribute to our vibrant team culture.
- NDIS clearance (or willing to obtain)- this is mandatory.
