Cleaners Needed for our Wonderful Aged Care Facility in Yackandandah!

Yackandandah Health is a community owned organisation that pursues innovative, inclusive approaches to meet the needs of our community.
We are currently searching for serious and experienced cleaners who want to work. 

We have as much work to offer you as you need, and are able to setup a great cleaning schedule that suits your needs and availability. Permanent Part Time Role available in the new yea 2025.

Essential:

• A Current NDIS Check
• A caring, motivated and efficient person with a genuine interest in providing a clean, safe environment for elderly people.
• Flexibility to pick up extra shifts as needed
• Ability to work within specific time parameters
• Education – Secondary School Level (at least year 10)  
• Up to date Flu and Covid vaccinations

• Knowledge and understanding of environmental, housekeeping / cleaning standards required for Aged care and Acute Facilities
• Willingness to work within and understand the requirements for Accreditation for Aged Care Standards and ACHS.

• Provide cleaning/laundry services according to established cleaning schedules.
• Safe storage and use of cleaning agents including correct cleaning agents used in correct quantities for each task.
• Contribute to a safe environment when undertaking duties ensuring equipment is not obscuring exits and passageways.
• Ensure that all containers and products used are correctly labelled and easily identifiable with the relevant chemical data.
• Utilise resources in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines according to Yackandandah Health policy and procedures, Department of Human Services (DHS) guidelines and Australian Standards.
