About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Locum CT Radiographer to join a friendly and supportive imaging team in Cairns. Dates for this role are 2nd February fo a minimum 6 weeks.
This is an excellent opportunity to combine meaningful clinical work with a tropical lifestyle, close to the Great Barrier Reef and rainforest.
You will work across general radiography services, delivering high-quality imaging and patient care in a well-equipped department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and professional care at all times
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, referrers, and clinical staff
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and departmental protocols
• Private Hospital practice and 3 community practicesWork across various settings
• Machines used = (MRI - 2x 3T Skyra's both on DRB Somaris X software (the latest version) and one 1.5 Sola also on DRB and running the exact same software. 
• Hours = Shifts fall within 7am and 9pm at the Private Hospital (most shifts in the region will be between 8 and 5)

Requirements

• AHPRA registration as a Radiographer (mandatory)
• Relevant clinical experience in CT and/or Mammo 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments
• QLD radiation licence (or eligibility)
