About the role

Health Personnel Pty Ltd are seeking an experienced Locum Sonographer to join their team in Cessnock, NSW on a contract basis. Dates required are June 6th for a minimum of 6-8 weeks.
As a Locum Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical imaging services to patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and efficient patient flow. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected healthcare provider and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.
What you'll be doing

• Performing a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal scans
• Accurately capturing and interpreting ultrasound images to assist with medical diagnoses
• Maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring all documentation is completed to a high standard
• Adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols and quality assurance measures
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Continuously developing your skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

• A recognised qualification in medical sonography with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Registered as a Sonographer with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients and other healthcare providers
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
• A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and upholding professional standards
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work as part of a team or independently as required
