About the Company
Our client, a Pennsylvania-based leader in designing and manufacturing cutting-edge Aircrew Training Systems and Simulators, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician, with computer and network experience, to support and maintain Aeromedical (Pilot) Training Equipment at locations throughout the US, particularly in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area.
This role is more than just a job opportunity; it’s a chance to work at the heart of advanced flight simulation technology. You’ll manage the hardware and software operations of flight simulators and aeromedical training equipment, ensuring every mission is executed flawlessly. Your responsibilities will include system startups, troubleshooting, preflight inspections, and performing routine maintenance to keep all systems running smoothly.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of all training systems, performing routine inspections, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. This position is ideal for someone who is technically proficient, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- System Inspections:
- Verify the functionality of all systems, including computers, networks, input/output devices, pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, and motion platforms.
- System Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance on system computers, networks, input/output components, electrical sub-systems, pneumatic sub-systems, vacuum sub-systems, motion platforms, and related equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Perform system updates and modifications as necessary. Document maintenance actions and provide the necessary reports.
- Troubleshooting & Repair:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to system computers, networks, input/output systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, motion platforms, and related equipment.
- Collaborate with other technical teams at various remote locations if advanced support is required.
- Document maintenance actions and provide the necessary reports.
- System Architecture Knowledge:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the general system architecture for all aeromedical training equipment on site.
- Document and update system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications Required Technical Experience and Qualifications for this position include:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a Field Service role or similar Support Technician role working with custom industrial equipment/machinery is required.
- Experience working in a military or aeromedical training environment is a plus.
- Proficiency with industrial equipment preventive and corrective maintenance- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment is required.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and software maintenance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.
- Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and their own vehicle with valid insurance.
- This position requires travel to various sites, as necessary, to support the systems preventive and corrective maintenance requirements - Car allowance and/or mileage reimbursement will be provided.
- Must complete a drug screening and background check, in order to gain access to military bases, as required.

Pay range and compensation package Salary: $30.00-$38.00/hour + OT
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5pm
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area
