Psychiatrist - Scenic Waterfront Region of Eastern Ontario (Three Positions)
Imagine providing vital mental health care within a supportive hospital environment nestled in a vibrant community in Eastern Ontario. Aspira Talent is seeking three experienced psychiatrists for full-time positions to join a collaborative and close-knit mental health department serving a
county-wide population of 250,000.

Your Role: As a full-time Psychiatrist, you will have the option to provide inpatient, outpatient services, and ECT, or a combination thereof. The hospital's mental health services include 29 inpatient beds, a Concurrent Disorders Stabilization Unit (CDSU), a Mental Health Inpatient Unit with PICU beds, a crisis team based in the ER, an Assertive Community Treatment Team
(ACT), and an outpatient multidisciplinary team. Full-time Psychiatrists typically provide one weekday call shift per week and one to two weekend days per month. There are also opportunities to teach medical learners and residents through collaboration with a well-regarded Ontario university.
What You Bring:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent medical degree.
- Certification (or eligibility for certification) in the Royal College of Physicians and
Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Psychiatry. - Eligibility for independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons ofOntario (CPSO). US-trained physicians holding American Board Certification may be eligible for CPSO licensure without RCPSC.
What We Offer:
Competitive compensation includes a guaranteed $900 per day stipend for weekdays, fee- for-service billings, and Hospital On-Call Coverage (HOCC) for evening weekday and weekend call shifts. Full-time Psychiatrists can anticipate making over $400K per annum.
