Hospitalist - Scenic Waterfront Region of Eastern Ontario (Six Positions)

Aspira Talent is seeking six skilled and passionate Hospitalists to become integral members of our collaborative team, dedicated to delivering exceptional inpatient care to the hospitals county-wide population of 250,000.

Your Role: As a Hospitalist, you will provide comprehensive and continuous inpatient medical care to a diverse patient population. This includes diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, participating in a seven-day rotation schedule (for full-time positions) with associated call responsibilities, and contributing to a supportive and collegial environment alongside an Admissionist and Physician Assistants. You will be able to work in a practice environment featuring over 50 acute care and rehabilitation beds. Teaching medical learners and residents is encouraged.
What You Bring:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent medical degree.
- Certification (or eligibility for certification) in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Family Medicine (CCFP) or Internal Medicine (FRCPC).
- Eligibility for independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- US-trained physicians holding American Board Certification may be eligible for CPSO licensure without RCPSC, CCFP, or FRCPC.
- A deep-seated passion for delivering patient-centred care in an inpatient setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- A strong professional work ethic and commitment to high-quality care.
