Position: Traffic Manager &  Operations Assistant

We are seeking a fulltime Traffic Manager to lead and oversee the successful delivery of traffic management services across our Tamworth - New England footprint and a casual Operations Assistant to provide general operational fleet support and be responsible for stock and delivery of equipment to a variety of sites across the new England footprint.
 
TRAFFIC MANAGER ROLE:
As the Traffic Manager, you'll take charge of day-to-day operations, tackle on-site challenges, and ensure our services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards. You'll build strong relationships with key stakeholders and work closely with our team to maintain high standards of compliance, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings for major projects and events requiring elevated service coordination
• Develop and maintain strategic business relationships (e.g., TfNSW, Councils)
• Consult with stakeholders on TMP/TGS needs for civil construction projects
• Design and review TMPs/TGSs to ensure compliance and safety
• Oversee workforce and fleet resource allocation to meet project demands
• Manage escalations from traffic teams and clients to ensure timely resolution
• Schedule operational equipment maintenance and team training
• Facilitate training on company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' experience in traffic management, including operational leadership
• Sound knowledge of Transport for NSW regulations and the TCAWS Manual
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams and liaise with clients
• Practical problem-solving ability and calm under pressure
• Proven experience designing TMPs and managing compliance

Essential Licences & Tickets

• Manual Driver's Licence
• White Card
• Current Traffic Controller & Implement Traffic Management Plan
• Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan
• Workers on Foot

Desirable Qualifications

• HLTPAT005 - Collect specimens for drug testing or equivalent
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment

OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
  
As the Operations Assistant you will be responsible for providing support for audits, equipment deliveries, vehicle movements and stock management.
