A prestigious international law firm with an excellent reputation for disputes work is seeking a talented Contentious Construction Associate (2–4 PQE) to join its highly regarded London team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious associate to work on high-profile construction and engineering disputes – both domestic and international – while gaining exposure to cutting-edge work across a variety of sectors including infrastructure, energy, and transport.
  

�� The Role 
  
  
You’ll be part of a market-leading disputes team handling a broad range of construction-related litigation, arbitration, and adjudication matters. The team regularly acts for blue-chip clients, contractors, developers, and public authorities in complex and high-value disputes arising from major projects in the UK and overseas.
You will:

• Advise on high-stakes construction disputes across a wide range of forums (TCC, adjudication, arbitration)
• Draft and review contracts, pleadings, witness statements, expert reports, and legal opinions
• Assist on complex international arbitration matters involving FIDIC and NEC contracts
• Liaise directly with clients, counsel, and experts
• Contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives

• 2–4 years' post-qualification experience in contentious construction law
• Solid experience working within a recognised construction disputes or commercial litigation team
• Familiarity with JCT, NEC, and FIDIC contracts
• Experience with adjudication, arbitration (domestic and international), and High Court litigation
• A strong academic record and excellent drafting skills
• A proactive, collaborative and client-focused approach
