£95,000 – £130,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits
  

The Opportunity 
  
We’re working with a top-tier UK law firm with a renowned national and international Employment team. They are seeking an ambitious and technically strong Employment Associate (4–6+ PQE) to join their dynamic team in London.
  

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level employment lawyer to step into a client-facing role, advising major corporate clients across complex and strategic employment matters – including contentious and non-contentious work – in a firm that truly invests in career development and supports agile working.

• Strategic HR advice and board-level issues
• Employment litigation (Tribunal and High Court)
• Restructuring and redundancy
• Whistleblowing and discrimination claims
• Executive terminations and restrictive covenants
• International workforce management and global mobility
• Cross-border M&A support and TUPE issues
• Regulatory and compliance advisory across sectors

You’ll work closely with leading lawyers and Partners who are considered thought-leaders in the employment law space, and benefit from a truly collaborative and entrepreneurial culture.
  

What You’ll Be Doing

• Advising on high-value, strategic employment matters for FTSE 100, global corporates, and household names
• Handling complex employment disputes – both in the Employment Tribunal and High Court
• Advising on cross-border advisory and transactional matters, including M&A, outsourcing and reorganisations
• Managing DSARs, internal investigations, grievances and whistleblowing processes
• Advising on executive terminations, team moves, restrictive covenants and bonus disputes
• Supporting clients with international mobility, compliance and employment structuring
• Working closely with specialists across tax, data protection, pensions, and corporate for holistic client support

The Ideal Candidate

• UK-qualified Solicitor with 4–6+ years’ PQE in a highly regarded employment team
• Strong background in contentious and advisory employment law (High Court and Tribunal experience preferred)
• Excellent technical knowledge of UK employment law, with experience in cross-border and transactional matters
• Commercially astute with strong communication and client management skills
• Comfortable building relationships with clients and supporting business development
• A collaborative team player who enjoys working across multiple sectors and jurisdictions
• Ideally some exposure to financial services, tech, energy or life sciences sectors
