Are you a bright and ambitious IP litigator with a technical background looking to join one of the UK’s most respected IP litigation teams?

We are working with a top-tier specialist law firm in central London who are seeking an exceptional IP Litigation Associate (1–3 PQE) to join their high-calibre team. This firm is renowned for its cutting-edge work on complex, high-value patent litigation across sectors including life sciences, telecommunications, medical devices, and clean energy.

The Role 
  
You will join a collegiate, intellectually rigorous team of leading litigators advising global clients on some of the most challenging and high-profile patent disputes in the UK and Europe. This is a unique opportunity to:

• Work on technically complex multi-jurisdictional patent litigation
• Collaborate closely with industry experts and Counsel
• Contribute to strategic case planning and trial preparation
• Be part of a supportive and academically driven team with direct partner access

Key Requirements 
  
We are seeking candidates who demonstrate:

• 1–3 years PQE with demonstrable experience in contentious IP (particularly patent litigation) from a well-regarded UK or international law firm
• A strong academic record, including a minimum 2:1 undergraduate law degree (or GDL equivalent)
• A technical/scientific second degree is highly desirable – particularly in:
  
  • Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Pharmacology)
  • Chemistry
  • Engineering
  • Telecoms/Electronics
  • Energy / Clean Tech
• Excellent analytical and drafting skills
• A genuine passion for intellectual property law and litigation
• A team player with a collaborative and commercially astute mindset
