About the Role

A prestigious, high-ranking international law firm is seeking an Employment Lawyer (5+ PQE) to join its dynamic Employment & Labour team on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-profile, complex employment matters in a collaborative and market-leading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising high-profile clients on employment law issues, including disciplinary matters, dismissals, contracts, policies, and workplace disputes.
• Handling contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including litigation, regulatory investigations, and corporate support work.
• Representing clients in Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, including discrimination, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, and restrictive covenants.
• Providing strategic advice on restructuring, redundancies, TUPE, and executive terminations.
• Advising on workplace investigations, regulatory compliance, and governance issues.
• Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, settlement agreements, and policies.
• Collaborating with corporate, regulatory, and litigation teams on cross-border employment matters.
• Keeping up to date with employment law developments and delivering internal and client training.

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 5+ years PQE in a top-tier firm or reputable employment practice.
• Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
• Exceptional legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills.
• Experience managing Employment Tribunal and High Court cases.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent client management skills, with experience advising corporate clients and senior executives.
• Experience in cross-border employment issues and multi-jurisdictional matters is desirable.
