About this Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Intern to join our Commercial – International team.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will support the chartering team in ensuring efficient, accurate and timely submission of tenders and quotations. You will also support the team in new opportunities entry, contracts register, market research and analysis as well as regular tracking of the pipeline of tenders.
This is a full-time position for 6 to 12 months based in our Singapore office.
Key Responsibilities - Support the preparation and submission of quotations and tenders in a timely manner
- Maintain bid and contract registers and vessel schedules
- Analyse and track the fleet of competitor vessels
- Prepare tender specifications accurately and timely
- Liaise with vessel managers to oversee tender technical specifications and to allow adequate planning of operations.
- Liaise with insurers, legal, compliance teams to ensure contractual and pricing of tenders are met prior to submission.
- Be aware of vessel commitments, fully manage pending and on-going charters.
- Adhoc projects and tasks as directed by the manager.
Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in maritime preferred.
- No industry experience is required but with basic understanding of the maritime industry and oil & gas market.
