YHA Brisbane City is a 380-bed property located in the heart of the city providing comfortable and affordable accommodation and experiences to groups and independent travellers from around the world. This modern property offers a range of private and co-living accommodation rooms as well as an onsite cafe, rooftop pool and bar, co-working space, and wellness centre. Our crew of approximately 50 passionate and hardworking team members pride themselves on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for guests and each other.
We’re looking for a Full-Time Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our energetic team and deliver an exceptional guest experience — all while ensuring compliance with Food Safety and RSA standards.
Based at our Brisbane property, this hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in creating memorable, high-quality food and beverage experiences.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate bar operations and events in partnership with the Property Management team.
- Develop and manage costing and pricing for all bar offerings.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver creative activations that drive revenue and engagement.
- Manage ordering, stock control, and monitor the cost of goods and services.
- Handle guest requests and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to the team to maintain high performance.
- Ensure excellent hygiene, food safety, and RSA compliance at all times.
- Work primarily Tuesday to Saturday, with flexibility based on operational needs.
What We’re Looking For - Proven experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in Food & Beverage service.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card.
- A motivational leader who creates a positive, inclusive, and fun team culture.
- Strong commercial awareness with a solid grasp of stock control and cost management.
- Unlimited working rights in Australia.
- A strong commitment to safety, HACCP, and RSA compliance.
- Someone with initiative and creativity, who’s ready to contribute ideas and help shape the future success of our property.
What are we looking for: - Previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in Food & Beverage service
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card
- A passion for inspiring your team to create a positive and fun environment
- Commercial acumen with an understanding of stock control and cost of goods
