YHA Cape Byron and YHA Byron Bay, offers inviting common areas surrounding spacious, heated pools and BBQ zones, perfect for socialising and enjoying your stay. With surfboards and boogie boards for hire, you can easily explore the beaches. Ideally located in the town centre, the properties are walking distance from the beach and cycling paths.

About the role:

YHA Cape Byron and Byron Bay are vibrant quality affordable low-cost accommodation hostels nestled in the heart of Byron Bay, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and presentation of our two properties. A key focus will be managing and supporting the team of around 20 staff to ensure we maintain the pristine condition of both the Cape and Byron properties. 

We want to meet Housekeeping leaders who will challenge the normal and who can make a difference in an operation where sustainability and relationships are valued.  

What are we looking for:

• Previous leadership experience in housekeeping or cleaning, leading and motivating a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional results and a happy, safe and motivated team
• As a leader, you know you’ll need flexible availability 24/7 roster including night shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written
