Brisbane YHA 

The YHA Brisbane property offers an award-winning experience with breathtaking views of the Brisbane River and the city skyline. Conveniently located close to premier attractions such as Suncorp Stadium, The Gabba, and South Bank, it serves as the perfect base for event-goers and adventurers looking to explore the best of Brisbane.

The position

We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our team on a full-time basis. Our housekeeping team plays a vital role in maintaining the property’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. 

What are we looking for:

• Experience in a Housekeeping leadership role, managing, mentoring and motivating a team
• Commitment to supporting procedures with a focus on supporting safety and environmental policies
• A commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards 
• Focus on team development and mentoring
• Experience in managing and controlling stock and inventory levels including working with outsourced linen hire companies 
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with property management systems is desirable 
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work on a 24/7 roster, with night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
