About the role:

YHA Cape Byron and Byron Bay are vibrant quality affordable low-cost accommodation hostels nestled in the heart of Byron Bay, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and presentation of our two properties. Responsibilities include team leadership, upkeep of communal areas, bathrooms, and guest rooms, managing inventory, and maintaining the pristine condition of both the Cape and Byron properties. 

We want to meet Housekeeping leaders who will challenge the normal and who can make a difference, you may be a Housekeeping Manager in your current role but don't let that stop you from applying as we will discuss all options. 

What are we looking for:

• Previous leadership experience in housekeeping or cleaning, leading and motivating a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional results
• Flexible availability 24/7 roster including night shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written
