YHA Blue Mountains, nestled in the central area of Katoomba, is a 240-bed facility catering to both domestic and international travelers, as well as sizable groups. This historic site boasts extensive communal amenities, a co-working area, ample space for groups and events, and a diverse range of private and shared rooms. Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast service, with the option of catering for groups and those attending meetings. A dedicated team of 12 staff members strives to create unforgettable experiences for guests, and we are thrilled to announce the recruitment of a new Reception/Housekeeping member to join this team.
About the role:
YHA is seeking a full-time Shift Manager to join our management team in Blue Mountains. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations during your shift, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the property. Your main duties will include providing exceptional service to our guests, supervising team members, and offering primary support. As a key point of contact for both guests and staff, you will address any issues that arise, fostering a positive and welcoming environment. As a vital member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the management and operation of YHA, gaining valuable experience and growth opportunities alongside a team of skilled and engaging colleagues.
