Key Aspects of the Role:
Clean and maintain guests' rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
Change bed linens and towels, and replenish supplies as needed.
Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to management.
Assist with laundry and other housekeeping tasks as required.
Promote a positive atmosphere and provide friendly service to guests.
Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.
Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently while ensuring a smooth process for guests.
Provide information about hostel facilities, local attractions, and travel advice.
Handle reservations, cancellations, and inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
Maintain accurate records of guest information and payments.
Address guest concerns and requests promptly and professionally.
Assist with administrative tasks and support other team members as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
Self-motivation, hands-on, and willing to perform all duties that are required in managing a small accommodation site.
A desire to work on the front line of the business across housekeeping and reception.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of local market trends and competition.
A commitment to customer service and providing guests with a unique and memorable YHA experience
