Job Posting: Child and Youth Worker or Equivalent

We are seeking qualified individuals with CYW or equivalent backgrounds to support clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and aggressive behaviors. This role involves working with high-needs clients and requires UMAB certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Primary Worker, preparing progress reports and participating in team meetings.
• Arrange transportation for medical, dental, and other appointments.
• Assist clients in understanding their rights and responsibilities.
• Develop and implement treatment and care plans in consultation with professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation as required by relevant ministries.
• Provide physical intervention using UMAB-approved restraints, if necessary.

Requirements:

• Experience working with high-needs and autistic clients.
• Class G driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• UMAB certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Position Type: Casual/ Part time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Schedule: On-call, as needed (including weekends)
Location: Mississauga, ON (reliable commute or relocation preferred)
