Canteen are currently seeking a experienced multi-tasker to run events and provide administration support.
Just when life should be full of possibilities, cancer can crash into a young person’s world and shatter everything. Canteen provides young people impacted by cancer, and their parents, with access to a team of Allied Health Professionals who deliver programs, counselling and a range of other group and individual support activities.
The team at Canteen assist these young people to access the support they need to develop and maintain the skills and confidence to live healthy and happy lives.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands on role overseeing Canteen National Supporter Events, as well as providing administration support to Community Fundraising Specialists.
The Community Fundraising & Events Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of our Supporter Events throughout the year - helping to develop the strategy, processes, and procedures, event order and logistics - then leading and working closely with our Fundraising Managers and State Managers to activate in all Canteen locations across Australia.
Within the Community Fundraising administration responsibilities, this role will primarily work closely with the Third-Party Community Fundraising Specialist and the Digital & P2P Fundraising Campaign Specialist, by providing fundraiser administration support, including (but not limited to), management and direction of fundraiser enquiries, data entry and tracking of fundraiser activities, reconciliation of fundraiser donations, helping to send out fundraiser welcome packs and other incentives and providing stewardship support such as fundraiser phone calls and emails.
The role is based at the National office in Newtown, Sydney. Some interstate travel may also be required.
