ABOUT THE ROLEA part position to suit work-life balance, with the potential of between 16 to 24 hours per week on offer. Our Dietitian role will provide you with a unique opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team of OT’s, Physio’s, EP’s, Podiatrists and other Dietitians.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Providing dietetic education as part of the multi-disciplinary team,
- Assisting patients to identify and achieve dietary and lifestyle goals,
- Contributing to the promotion of health, the prevention of ill health and the application of medical nutrition therapy for acute and chronic conditions
- Contributing to the growth and development of the dietetic service.
- Contributing advice and tips for our website, newsletter and social media
The ideal candidate for this role will have a Degree in Dietetics, a current DAA certificate, professional indemnity insurance and a minimum of 3 years experience. As a community-based dietitian, travel to patients will be required to complete your daily duties, and a company car is provided for this. For those interested in private clinic opportunities, there is potential for this role to expand and involve work across the group.
