About the role
We are looking for passionate and skilled Podiatrists who enjoy making a real difference in people's lives. This is a full-time role based on the Sunshine Coast.
Joining the team as a Community Podiatrist, you will embrace a rewarding and fulfilling role that brings healthcare to those who need it most, right in the comfort of their own homes.
Benefits and perks
Why consider a Community Podiatry role with us? Here are the unique benefits:
- Personal Connection and Impact: As a Community Podiatrist, you have the opportunity and privilege of forming genuine connections with your patients. You’ll provide holistic and personalised care that immensely impacts their quality of life. Your work is not just about feet; it’s about understanding patients and their individual needs in their own home.
- Autonomy and Flexibility: Enjoy a level of autonomy that’s hard to match in a clinical setting. You manage your schedule, allowing for a work-life balance that suits you. Every day is a new experience with decisions made by you, for your patients.
- All-inclusive Equipment Package: We set you up for success. Everything you need – a new laptop, and all other essential supplies, equipment and consumables – is provided to you. We want you to focus on patient care, not the tools you need to deliver it.
- Company Vehicle Included: Say farewell to wear and tear on your personal vehicle. We provide you with a comfortable and reliable work car to make your patient visits stress-free and efficient.
- Supportive and Collaborative Team: Even though you are out in the field, you are never alone. Our team is here to provide support, guidance, and collaboration whenever you need it. You are a valued member of a caring, professional family. Alongside podiatry colleagues (including a team leader with over 8 years of experience in community podiatry), you will have access to the expertise of a multidisciplinary team to create incredible outcomes for your patients. Culture comes first with weekly meetings, monthly socials, and professional development sessions.
- Opportunity for Professional Growth: This role allows for continuous professional development, and you will be provided annually with $2K to consolidate your skills and broaden your scope of practice. You will acquire a breadth of experience that is both unique and highly regarded, which could open doors for future career opportunities.
- Make a Tangible Difference: As a Community Podiatrist, your skills reach those who might otherwise struggle to access care. Your role is vital, valued, and satisfying in a way that few healthcare positions can offer.
- Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package: We value and reward your hard work and dedication with an attractive compensation package, opportunities for bonuses, pet leave and other benefits.
